Even though we face big adversities with planet Earth, every day was committed to explore how these adversities could be transformed into opportunities.
For two weeks we explored Global Goal 13. Climate Action and Global Goal 9. Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. The experience was impressive for us. Alongside students we found challenges from which we learned everyday. They left a mark on us and on our careers, because each one of them was a different world.
The first week we talked about the relation between climate change and food, life in the forests, and jungles. The following week we approached the introduction to programming language and imagined how we could use it to address social and economical challenges. Even though we face big adversities with planet Earth, every day was committed to explore how these adversities could be transformed into opportunities.
Our methodology of literature, games, dancing, math and natural connection were fundamental to this learning experience. The variety in the activities showed that no matter the distance and how we prefer to learn, we all have something marvelous to share. It was encouraging to hear student’s interest during our encounters!
